RIT forward Carter Wilkie was named Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month for March.
Wilkie won the award for the third time this season. He earned back-to-back honors in October and November. The freshman was recently named the Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Year and a member of the conference’s All-Rookie squad.
Wilkie scored the game-winning goal and also blocked a pair of shots in RIT’s series-clinching 3-1 victory over Sacred Heart in the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals. He also tallied two assists in the Tigers’ 4-3 loss to Air Force in the Atlantic Hockey Semifinals.
Wilkie led the team with 30 points and 17 assists, while finishing second with 13 goals during his first season. He also tied for second in the nation with six game-winning goals, three of which were overtime winners.
