In an unusual move Wegmans announced on Thursday the closure of its first-ever multi-level store inside a major mall.
Opened in 2018, the Natick Mall location in Massachusetts, about 20 miles west of Boston, is among the chain’s largest outlets.
The 134,000-square-foot store employs 365 people, all of whom will be offered positions in other Wegmans stores within the Boston area.
No exact closing date has been announced.
